THE OUTCOME
In association with Edgio, d’café delivered a bespoke OTT platform for MASN, with some key custom implementations
1. AVOD Implementation
d’café integrated with a best-in-class SSAI Ad Server in SpotX for MASN with several ad types
2. Adobe Pass Authentication
As MASN is an AVOD platform, customer authentication was a necessity, especially while viewing live streams. dcafé used Adobe pass authentication to authorize users via partner cable providers so that the user could access live streams through more than one device without having to log in each time.
3. Swimlane content
To optimize MASN’s repository of sports-related and coaching articles, dcafé took MASN’s RSS articles and incorporated swim lanes across mobile and web so that key content could be highlighted, thus enhancing the overall experience.
4. Dynamic Sponsor Logos
dcafé implemented a custom solution with which MASN could manage sponsor logo placement across all apps directly from d’café. It removed the need for store upload and approvals which could delay the sponsor campaigns.
5. Dynamic Game Stats
For mobile and web-based devices, dcafé integrated Sportsradar, which allowed MASN to display close to real-time game stats, notifications, and live scores for its users throughout the season.
6. EPG schedules
To improve user engagement and drive content consumption, dcafé created custom EPGs for each team. This allowed users to access schedule content but only post authentication
